The key/code to unlock the door is hidden inside the room. You must find it within the time limit in order to successfully escape. If you do not find it in time, you fail the game, and the gamesmaster will open the room for you to exit.

WHAT AGE-GROUP ARE ESCAPE ROOMS GEARED TOWARDS?
Escape rooms can provide entertainment across many generations, but don't forget it is designed to challenge as well as entertain! Teens aged 14-17 may participate without adult supervision, but still require written consent from an adult. Children aged 10-13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Each activity has a set number of players allowed per slot. You will only participate with the group of people that you have made a booking for. How well you know them is up to you; friends, family, co-workers, classmates, teammates, random hitch-hikers you just picked up... We will never assign any extra players to your booking.
CAN I GET A HINT IF I'M STUCK?
YES.
You get 3 freebies to ask for help at any point. If you want to use more than 3 hints, you need to earn them by doing a party trick for the camera, and you no longer qualify to beat the record.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED HELP?
RELAX.
Your game is monitored via cameras for the duration of the game. You can communicate with the gamesmaster at any time via walkie talkie.

HOW ACCESSIBLE ARE YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS FOR THE DIFFERENTLY-ABLED?
IT'S AT YOUR DISCRETION
While some tasks may not require the use of sight or sound, other tasks do depend on it. As such, it could be dangerous or frustrating for players with sight or hearing impairments to take part unless assisted by their fellow players when required. In terms of physical access, the building is on a small farm in the KZN Midlands that makes for uneven terrain, and there are steps and a ramp up to the building in which the activities take place. Different themes might require a particular physical activity such as climbing or crawling - but players can assign 1 or 2 of their teammates to do the task.
All players participate at their own risk.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
APPROPRIATE CLOTHING / COSTUMES
Clothes that allow some basic movement such as bending over, kneeling on the floor, or reaching above your head will mean your full focus is on the game rather than whether your undies are showing. Although it's not compulsory, we recommend dressing up according to the theme of your chosen room, as groups who dare to go the extra mile tend to have extra fun! (And you get more memorable photos too)
HOW HARD ARE YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS?
THE AVERAGE PERSON SHOULD FIND IT CHALLENGING BUT FUN
The whole point of a puzzle is to challenge you. Well-designed escape rooms have a variety of puzzles that can be solved by the general public and don't require players to have expert knowledge in any particular field. Any specialized equipment or knowledge required to solve a puzzle will be provided somewhere in the room. Most successful groups finish within the last 10 minutes before their time is up, but some groups don't make it out in time.
